The kosovor

otka is a tunic-like shirt up to the knees (later up to the hips), consisting of a cloth covering the chest and back, connected on the sides with two pieces of fabric, and on the sleeves with gussets, often of red fabric. A backing was sewn onto the upper part of the shirt - a lining of a square or triangular shape, which prevented it from abrasion, and often played a decorative function, since it could be embroidered abundantly.
